ALT KEY PROJECT

BECAUSE MUSIC IS A PASSION

Morgan Johansson, founder of Alt Key Project, has a long career behind him as a software engineer. As COVID-19 ravaged the globe in 2020, Morgan saw it as an opportunity to further explore his greatest passion - electronic music composition and production. In 2021 Alt Key Project expanded into the field of effects plugins with the release of "Final Fader". The main focus is music production, but good tools allow for greater creativity.

Inspiration from Fictional WorldS

The music of Alt Key Project is inspired by the fictional works of William Gibson and Neal Stephenson, typically what from is called "Cyberpunk". In the case of Alt Key Project this means dark electronic/synth music ranging from ambient to dubstep and synthwave.

Easier, faster FADING WITH SIDE-CHAIN CONTROL. 

AB-C is a multi effect plugin that simplifies creation of great sounding fades and pumping side-chain effects. With AB-C you describe the two states at minimum fade control and maximum fade control and AB-C sweeps between the two states using either a single knob or a side-chain input source. Get AB-C here!
